A PLACE WHERE good things happen

Meet the team

NYCC is the relaunch of the longstanding GHYC.

Our team is a committed group of volunteers and paid staff with the aim of building a safe space for young people to hang out with their peers. We officially launch our full programme in September 2024 with a youth worker and support staff. We start recruitment in the summer 2024.

In the interim we are opening in the summer of 2024 with a programme of ‘youth cinema’ activities run by volunteers on Tuesday and Friday evenings for different age groups. If the weather is good, we will move outside for ‘outdoor cinema’ screenings to the basketball court.
