NYCC vision is for a welcoming and vibrant centre that offers an inclusive and shared space where children, young people and the community can learn, develop, and actively participate in community life.

We exist to support young people’s development, offering opportunities to gain, increase and develop skills, knowledge, self-awareness, and confidence, and enabling young people to make positive and healthy life choices through our wide range of programmes aimed at different age groups.

We open as a youth club for juniors twice a week for 8 to 12s at 5.45-7.15pm and for Seniors from 7.15pm twice a week. The centre is also home to various youth related groups including Scouts, Home Educators and others. In the day we have Adult related classes. Please see our event calendar for full details.

We open for private hire during the day at very competitive rates, so please do get in touch if this is for you.

Join the team

We are looking for volunteers. Young people are especially welcome to volunteer. We can provide training.
